My grandparents use to have a Cuckoo Clock in their front hallway and without fail...it would scare the shit out of me every hour that it went off. Good news is that these adorable clocks take such a fun playful approach to the Cuckoo that who could resist their charm!

In tribute to this great American holiday what more perfect of a day to highlight the most traditional of design, Americana. Okay, so Americana design is not at the top of my favorites list. I think I was traumatized by the cookie cutter colonial interiors of the Midwest development houses in my childhood. I do believe that with a little twist you can definitely put a modern spin on this style...and you don't need a flag, stars or stripes to prove your patriotism!

Loving this idea of using vintage suitcases as a nightstand. It adds a quirky touch to the necessity of a nightstand, plus it doubles as extra storage. You can easily find a suitcase like the ones pictured below at a flea market or garage sale on the cheap!

Okay, so I know we've all been seeing Ghost Chairs all over the place. You can get them anywhere from high end retailers to our beloved Target; but I am still such a sucker for a beautiful Ghost Chair at a soiree. I love over the top centerpieces and place settings, so adding a Ghost Chair lets your eyes focus on the actual centerpiece while still serving as a beautiful support to the entire table setting.
