In tribute to this great American holiday what more perfect of a day to highlight the most traditional of design, Americana. Okay, so Americana design is not at the top of my favorites list. I think I was traumatized by the cookie cutter colonial interiors of the Midwest development houses in my childhood. I do believe that with a little twist you can definitely put a modern spin on this style...and you don't need a flag, stars or stripes to prove your patriotism!
